A Legacy of Service

Mahmood Alam is a distinguished social worker and sports administrator based in Bishnugarh, Hazaribagh. Born and raised in Nawada, he recognized early on the lack of structured opportunities for the youth in rural Jharkhand. In 1999, driven by a desire to bridge this gap, he founded the Alam Sporting Club.

Professional Achievements

• Successfully affiliated the club with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Ministry of Youth Affairs.
• Secured registration with the Jharkhand Football Association (Reg No: 793/08).
• Organized over 50+ district-level tournaments promoting rural talent.
• Spearheaded social awareness campaigns regarding health and education alongside sports training.

Vision for the Future

Under his leadership, the club aims to build a state-of-the-art training facility in Bishnugarh. Mr. Alam continues to advocate for government support for rural athletes, ensuring that financial constraints never hinder a talented player's progress.
